Select range in a single track
See attached screen grab. These five tracks are linked to save synch in a podcast with individual tracks recorded. If I want to select the regions indicated in the screen grab, I need to option click the first region, then individually select each region by clicking with the Command key down.
IF there are no regions in other tracks within that range, you can simply Option click the left most track, then Shift click the right most track and all in between Weill be selected. BUT this applied to all tracks so regions above and below which I don't want,…

Peak lights go out ...
Hi,
In the level meters, would it be possible to have the peak lights for L and R channel to burn for a limited time, say three (3) seconds, and then go out, automatically ...?
• If so, I much more easy could see each and every time the sound peaks, instead of now, when I know that it has peaked, but not when.
• If You Donn’t want it to be so, make it a choice in the settings, to choose between a solid light and a light that goes out after a certain time. All the best!

Audio Description Recording
Greetings, hope this message find you well. I am a Voice Actor, I host a voice tracked segment on a radio show and an Audio Describer. Not to mention, I am a Hindy Journalist user and LOVE IT!.
I am writing about the Audio Description piece. I was looking at your program for Audio Books and made me wonder if there is a way to develop an audio program for Audio Description.
As an AD, I often describe eLearning, corporate videos and movies.. The way it works is you bring the video into the platform and with timecodes you record…

Improved handling of cue points
Working with cue points is very uncomfortable, they are not listed in the marker window, so it's hard to keep an overview. Could you list them in there or give them their own window?

Search and replace/global changes
I've found myself spending a lot of time removing umms, vocal "tics" and mouth sounds from different interview subjects. Could there be a way that the program might recognize these regions in a sort of find/search/replace type feature, where these can be isolated then split out to make global edits, deletes, or level changes? Thanks-Sean

Strip silence
I edited a series of podcasts recently. This required manually removing silence, which was quite the chore. Please, please, please implement a 'strip silence' feature to make editing more pleasurable!

ability to place marker on audio rather than track/timline
It would be great to be able to attach a marker directly to an audio clip. Marking the timeline is great, but if you mark a section of a long clip and then move that clip to a different point in the timeline, the mark no longer points to the section of audio you wanted to keep track of. Most video editing applications allow you to mark either on the timeline or on an individual clip. I would love this functionality in Hindenburg.

Auto-leveling LUFS
I am unsatisfied with the auto-leveling in Hindenburg. mostly how its confusing. I often use music as a bed to talk over for my podcast. Whenever I use the auto-level, the music is always too loud and I have to manually lower it by 3-6 db. I would like more transparency about what LUFS level the tracks are auto-leveled to. I usually export to -16 LUFS, but when I use the loudness meter, its not -16 LUFS. What is the LUFS when I am editing? When I manually adjust an auto-level and then export, does it export that track at…

While recording, ability to insert a tone or marker..
While recording an interview, would be helpful to be able to insert a "tone" or a "marker" in the recording so that one can return to that spot int he recording to pull out a clip highlight.

Ability to lock chapter markers to audio
I edit my podcast episodes using chapter markers. Sometimes I record an intro after editing (for example, because I want it to reflect the content in the finished episode), which I of course want to put at the beginning of the episode.
In this situation, I wish there was an easy way to move the chapter markers along with the audio. Now, I have to first move all the audio, then move each chapter marker the correct amount.

Move the location region names
The location of the region name makes it difficult to find a zero crossing when I'm working on the left edge of a region. Could you move the name to the top of each region?

mark while recording
Maybe you can already do this, but it would be great if you could mark the audio track AS you're recording.

Customizing favorites
Hey-I've been doing some of your YouTube webinars, and in the last one, they talked about the Favorites tool. While it's an awesome way to recall audio, Is there a way to customize that function for a specific project? Or when populating the favorites, would it be possible to make sub lists or folders in there that could be renamed and used as needed? I'm working on 3-4 different podcasts right now, and it would be great to set that up so I could archive and find clips in a more organized way. Thanks-
