Libsyn Publish audio / encoding settings

Here is a thing you can do, so you only need to do it once.
We are now going to make an Encoding Template for Libsyn based on their recommendations:

Spoken word
Music Show

First, let's create an Encoding Template for Spoken Word

1. Open Hindenburg
2. Press the Export Button
3. Where is says Format, choose "mp3"
4. Press the Options button to open the Export Options dialogue
5. Press the arrow next to Encoding / High quality
6. Select "Add New"
7. Rename it to "Spoken Word Show"
8. Fill in the following

    - Channels: Mono
    - Bitrate: 192 kbps
    - Sampllerate: 44100 HZ (this is the same as 44.1 KHz)
   - Loudness normalization: - 16 (this will set again in the Libsyn Export)
   
    - Add chapters: do not check
    - Save Configuration: Check  
    - Set as default: do not check

Now you need to make one for "Music Show"

1. Open Hindenburg
2. Press the Export Button
3. Where is says Format, choose "mp3"
4. Press the Options button to open the Export Options dialogue
5. Press the arrow next to Encoding / High quality
6. Select "Add New"
7. Rename it to "Music Show"
8. Fill in the following

    - Channels: Stereo
    - Bitrate: 128 kbps
    - Sampllerate: 44100 HZ (this is the same as 44.1 KHz)
   - Loudness normalization: - 16 (this will set again in the Libsyn Export)
   
    - Add chapters: do not check
    - Save Configuration: Check  
    - Set as default: do not check

You can close the export dialogue.

Now open Publish

If you need to switch between Spoken Word and Music Show uploads, then you can make two Libsyn Targets.
This is how you do it.

Lets first make a Target for Spoken Word

Press the "plus" icon to the right.
Choose "Libsyn"
Give the upload a name: "Spoken word"
Press "Next" 

    - File Format: MP3
    - File Encoding: Spoken Word (the one you just made)
    - Loudness: -16
    - Email: the email for your Libsyn Account
    - Password: password to your Libsyn Account

Press "Next"

Show - You now get to choose from any shows that you might already have on Libsyn
Draft - if you upload a draft, then you will need to manually go to Libsyn and Publish the Draft.

Now make a new Target for Music Show. 

Press the "plus" icon to the right.
Choose "Libsyn"
Give the upload a name: "Spoken word"
Press "Next" 

    - File Format: MP3
    - File Encoding: Spoken Word (the one you just made)
    - Loudness: -16
    - Email: the email for your Libsyn Account
    - Password: password to your Libsyn Account

Press "Next"

Show - You now get to choose from any shows that you might already have on Libsyn
Draft - if you upload a draft, then you will need to manually go to Libsyn and Publish the Draft.
