"Scratchy" or poor audio quality when played in Hindy on Windows

If you experience "scratchy" or poor audio quality when you play back in Hindy on Windows, please try this:

Open Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Manage Audio Devices -> Select speakers -> Properties -> Advanced and then change the sample rate to 44100 Hz.
