Is it possible to record from two mics on one stereo track and then split the stereo recording into 2 separate tracks. How do I do that?
Yes, you can record two separate tracks into one channel:
1. Make sure the mics are panned out in left/right so that there's a speaker in each channel
2. Record speak onto one track
3. Split this track into left/right by selecting ""tools"" > ""split stereo"" - this should separate the single track into two tracks.
It's not the most elegant solution, but it works
