Should already work now: simple put the clip(s) on a New track and apply a vst effect, keep the ones that should not have the effect on another track. Effects: Search for accentize deroom (effective, easy to use, affordable, free trial). Install it, it'll show up in the effects. For Noise Reduction waves clarity vx is also great (again easy to use, effective, free trial, one time payment of 39 USD if you want to keep it). Another great Tool, also more complicated and a little more expensive, are Acon Digital Extract:Dialogue and De-Verberate 3. I own Izotope RX10 Advance, but the other mentioned are much easier to use and just as effective

We do already have that in Hindenburg ABC and it has it’s uses rearding recording lamps, silent buttons and transport … but we have not implemented it in Hindenburg Journalist, as things like automating volume curves would not be possible. This might result in more confusion and frustration – that it would solve. But we will keep it in the back of our minds.

We have been looking at how we can implement “delete silence” in Hindenburg. I think we should be able to come up with a solution for that in the near future.
We have been working on some other features that touch the same area, with out latest Beta feature called “Magic Levels”.
It’s a non destructive way of applying Side Chain Gate – so that mixing multiple recordings become very easy.
No the same, I know – be it might help out in the situations where you are looking to reduce Bleed or Noisefloor.r

Not a good idea. If you think you need it, Voicemeeter will already work (its free, installed as a vitual input between your mic and hindenburg. Set it up once and it will autostart and just work with no user interaction needed). But its better to Never use a gate while recording - this easily screws up everything. Recording clean and simple add one of the free gate vst3 effects available. This will still keep you original recording.

Its All in Hindenburg Narrator and works awesome! Please bring this to Journalist Pro. We dont need all the chapters and headline levels and stuff, just the open word file - have aparagraph highlighted and linked to the Audio- press cursor richtig to more to next Paragraph- click Paragraph to rerecord/jumper there.
