Maybe you can already do this, but it would be great if you could mark the audio track AS you're recording.

    Yes! This is needed. Right now the only way to add a mark is on playback. Adding it to a track while recording is highly desirable, e.g. for "flagging" a quote you would like to remove on playback.

    Not sure if you are referring to this but you add a mark while the recording is running. It's an overall time stamp for all tracks.
