I am unsatisfied with the auto-leveling in Hindenburg. mostly how its confusing. I often use music as a bed to talk over for my podcast. Whenever I use the auto-level, the music is always too loud and I have to manually lower it by 3-6 db. I would like more transparency about what LUFS level the tracks are auto-leveled to. I usually export to -16 LUFS, but when I use the loudness meter, its not -16 LUFS. What is the LUFS when I am editing? When I manually adjust an auto-level and then export, does it export that track at the level I set, or does it adjust it relative to the auto leveled tracks?
