See attached screen grab. These five tracks are linked to save synch in a podcast with individual tracks recorded. If I want to select the regions indicated in the screen grab, I need to option click the first region, then individually select each region by clicking with the Command key down.

IF there are no regions in other tracks within that range, you can simply Option click the left most track, then Shift click the right most track and all in between Weill be selected. BUT this applied to all tracks so regions above and below which I don't want, get elected too.

So unless I have missed the keyboard modifier, we need a way to select a range IN A SINGLE TRACK (without having to unlink tracks)
