Cursor behavior for marking and selecting
When I listen to my raw audio, I want to select clips that I will put on the clipboard. To do that I will set marks. But the cursor behavior changes when I hover over the mark in such a way that I cannot begin a selection there. So now I delete a mark in order to start the selection there and move the outpoint to the other mark. But that deletion is just one step that hinders my workflow. It is cumbersome. I'd love a way to have a little space above the mark where I can begin to select a clip for the clipboard.

You can also drag a selection from the bottom part of the region, so you don't conflict with the region. Or use “i” & “o” to set in and out marker … or ctrl 1 = in & ctrl 2 for out.
I like to use the latter. The reason is that I can also jump to my in & out makers with 1 & 2
