It would be great to be able to mute a region instead of having to mute a whole track.

Yes, we introduced Mute some time back. So Cmd M is what you are looking for

I would love this. If you could toggle on or off a selected clip or group of clips, it would be much easier to experiment with different combinations of ambience or music, or to test different interview clip options as you mix. In ProTools you mute a region with command-m (or at least you did back when I was using PT). Thanks.
