Narrator "Move and Mark Paragraph"
When recording a paragraph, I usually know when I just "got it wrong," so I just hit the right arrow and move on to stay in the flow.
It would be great to be able to use, say, the down arrow or something to "move and mark," perhaps putting a small mark in the margin or using a different background color for the paragraph so that you could easily see which items you need to re-record.
Thank you,

List of Cuepoints
When I create Markers, they're automatically added to the clipboard. When I create a Cuepoint, though, I don't see any place where that's listed. Would be great if a menu or window could be made that holds a list of cue points, similarly to the Marker clipboard.

clarify export dialogue
The best evidence suggests that when exporting a file, The export dialogue parameters are misleading. If once Alex -16 LUFS and mono, the best evidence suggests that it is auto adjusted to be -19 LUFS, which is the mono equivalent to -16 stereo. But there’s no indication in the dialog box that this is happening. Therefore, if an informed user, recognizing that -19 LUFS is the correct setting for mono, manually changes the output setting to -19 LUFS mono, they would — if the protocol continues — get a resultant file of -22 LUFS. This automatic adjustment and conversion is…

Drag playback head
Currently, the only way to move the playback head is to click to the new location. This is non-standard and can also be inconvenient. To make HJP consistent with other DAW's and more usable (and intuitive), user should be able to "grab" the playback head with the mouse and drag it to a new location.

Add cue points on volume curve
Something that has been bugging me since I started working with Hindenburg: how to create volume curves. It's pretty straightforward for fade in/out and simple ducking, but more complex curves (e.g. for music) are a pain to create. Is there a deeper reason why it's not possible to create cue points on the curve that you can drag up and down, like in other DAWs? I'm working on a project at the moment where I create audio curves like on the attached screenshot. While it is possible to do that in Hindy, it would be a lot easier if you…

Ripple record
I would like to have a functionality like ripple record, meaning one could record directly into an existing recording on one track and all parts behind that recording shift to the right (recordings on other tracks as well).

Effect chain with more slots
The effect chain should be extensible, to allow for a (potentially) unlimited number of effects to be inserted. 6 is barely enough, and I sometimes need to pre-process audio into another application, which defeats the purpose of a software as wonderful as HJP.

Dereverb tool and applying plugins/tools to portions of a track and not just the whole track.
I am very interested in a dereverb tool and being able to apply plugins/tools to specific parts of tracks and not just an entire track. I would also even be willing to purchase an extra Hindenburg specific plugin pack like RX7 but simplified for those without an audio engineering degree. A deesser, limiter, vocal rider, would all be great.

Audio input/output settings
Allow HJ to recognize the system default inputs and outputs as the input/output selections in the app as other apps (such as Logic Pro) do. This simplifies the process of coordinating these settings between the OS and the app.

Search and replace/global changes
I've found myself spending a lot of time removing umms, vocal "tics" and mouth sounds from different interview subjects. Could there be a way that the program might recognize these regions in a sort of find/search/replace type feature, where these can be isolated then split out to make global edits, deletes, or level changes? Thanks-Sean

Ability to lock chapter markers to audio
I edit my podcast episodes using chapter markers. Sometimes I record an intro after editing (for example, because I want it to reflect the content in the finished episode), which I of course want to put at the beginning of the episode.
In this situation, I wish there was an easy way to move the chapter markers along with the audio. Now, I have to first move all the audio, then move each chapter marker the correct amount.

Move the location region names
The location of the region name makes it difficult to find a zero crossing when I'm working on the left edge of a region. Could you move the name to the top of each region?

Customizing favorites
Hey-I've been doing some of your YouTube webinars, and in the last one, they talked about the Favorites tool. While it's an awesome way to recall audio, Is there a way to customize that function for a specific project? Or when populating the favorites, would it be possible to make sub lists or folders in there that could be renamed and used as needed? I'm working on 3-4 different podcasts right now, and it would be great to set that up so I could archive and find clips in a more organized way. Thanks-

Sonix compatibility
Sorry for double-posting: forgot I had this option too.
I am an old, enthusiastic user of HJ, but a new, happy user of Sonix[dot]ai, and would love the ability to export from there into a non-destructive .nhsx format (which you can currently do for Adobe Auduition, etc).
5 votesWe have made the some changes and exchanged information with Sonix so the ball is all in their court.
They expect to be able to save nhsx files from within Sonix. -
Two-way compatibility with Descript
Exporting to Descript - get with Descript so they can directly import a Hindy project file as-is...especially multi-track files and having them go into Descript as a sequence - stay mulit-track - rather than having to break them apart and then reassemble them in Descript would be great. Also, if one could publish straight from Descript to a Hindy project file, all the better, of course. The more seamless this can be, the better. One thought...if I could do everything Descript does from inside Hindy, no import/exporting, even better. Can Descript be a plug-in for Hindy if we pay for…

Allow audio level to be increased more than +15 dB
As a public affairs journalist, sometimes I have to rely on others for audio — court proceedings, for example — and sometimes it comes in way too low, even after increasing it the maximum 15 dB. In these cases, I could maximize the level, export, reimport, and increase the level again. But typically I just open the file in Adobe Audition and do the increase there.
I'm sure there's a reason for the 15 dB cap, but it would be nice to be able to exceed it when necessary.
Thanks for considering it!

Top and Tail Linked Tracks
Top and Tail is great, but I mostly edit using linked tracks. Please could this feature be expanded to cover linked tracks?

Mute Button
Please add a mute channel button to use while recording. Something similar to Zencastr. This would allow us to mute coughs, etc., on the fly while recording sound.

Devise a way to filter speaker-to-mic feedback out of a recording
We had a guest on a Zoom interview podcast, and she only had her computer speakers and microphone to use. Whenever she was silent, our voices came out her speakers and into the microphone, and went round and round, as well as on to the other tracks. It took FOREVER to clean that up in Hindenburg by hand. Isn't there some comparative function that can cancel out that noise, but leave the rest when I put the 3 tracks side by side? I think there has to be some delay consideration, as well as decay and other things, but in…
