I actually choose Hindy because I figured the integration of text transcripts with audio would be a top priority for a robust dialogue-focused audio editing application. Will pro tools or reaper add this? Who knows. Probably not a top priority. But if I were trying to position Hindenburg as the go to editing application for spoken audio, this would certainly be at the very top of my development list.

With the current framework it is not possible to have multiple sessions open unfortunately. It does take, as you describe, some steps.
What you could do is, place the clips you would like to reuse in the Favourites clipboard. This way they will always be at hand trough all projects.Matthew Gordon supported this idea · -

YES!!! Audio producers don't know what they are missing! Having a source window is so useful. I kind of can't believe audio producers aren't banging down the door demanding this. I'm even considering editing podcasts inside Avid Media Composer or Davinci Resolve simply to have this functionality. Also, integrating with timecode and source material so that you could jump back from a section of a clip back to that same spot in the source material. Radio/podcast workflows could be so much more efficient and usseful if they integrated best practices from NLE video editing applications.
