Lock tracks without locking audioI desperately need to be able to lock two tracks that I'm editing without having their levels tied together. I'm adjusting levels as I edit, so I can't leave the tracks locked because if I adjust a level on one track, it adjusts the levels on the second track. But if I leave the tracks unlocked, every time I cut I have to check to make sure that when I have a region selected, it selected all tracks. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It was a lot more consistent in previous versions, but now it seems like just the… 1 vote

Make default view of clipboard folders closed/minimizedCurrently, when I re-open a project, all of the groups in my clipboard are defaulted to open/maximized, meaning, all of the files in each group are visible. For large projects, this is burdensome. I have one project with 15 contributors, each with their own folder in the clipboard, each of which contains 10+ clips. I regularly have to add recently gathered clips and the first thing I have to do is minimize every single folder so that I can see the title of every folder. Otherwise, I'm scrolling and scrolling up or down to find the folder I want. I… 1 vote

Marker and cue point managementI think the marker and cue point management is if I am honest a little clunky. For starters I think you should be able to display cue points in a similar way to markers, which I notice other people have commented on.
The only difference would be a drop down box at the top which allowed you to select the track to specify which markers to display. This allows easier navigation through cue points, which currently seems tricky. I also find that it's quite easy to inadvertently pick up and move markers when navigating through the tracks and selecting regions…1 vote

the manuscript panel is blocking the export of my audiobook on Narrator. It was imported in MS Word, so i assume this is related to that errMy current project has an outdated manuscript file attached (originally imported in MS Word at the start). That manuscript is out of sync with my recording. During export, Narrator refuses to proceed and throws the error “No narration for Header 1” (screenshot previously attached). I have attempted to replace the manuscript with a clean one (DOC, RTF, TXT), but each attempt returns “Could not import file – file is probably not of a supported type.” I also cannot find any way to remove the existing manuscript so that the export relies only on my timeline headers. So the core problem… 2 votes

Link & Unlink TracksHello Hindenburg, There should be an easy way to Link & Unlink Tracks. I can be a button or a shortcut in keyboard. I link tracks when start listening and after I cut and delete some poritons of those tracks I need to mute one and left other as active . So I need to unlink tracks and select the track that I want to make mute and again select the tracks to link and continue so on. This goes like that and I have to do this kind of operation many times in the project. Thank you

Muted ColorHello Hindenburg, This is Ekin , using the Hindenburg PRO since 3-4 years time with joy. What I suggest and need is when select and mute the block in the timeline it turns in to grayish color. As I am working with 2 or more channels at the same time in the project , my working order as ; Link those channels, start to listen them , place a cut in a point that cuts both channles and unlink 2 channels and select one channel and splitted piece and mute the block of that channel . Thats great I have… 1 vote

Surely there should not be a limit on offline transcription using Hindenburg Pro, right? There should not be a limit to the transcription on perpetual licenses. If the software is utilizing the local processor offline without any cloud based processing, then the time limit is completely artificial. 1 vote

More languages to transcribeIt would be great to be able to transcribe audios in other languages such as Galician. And also the possibility to detect several languages in the same audio. 6 votes

Automatically cut quotes from a track using time stamps from the manuscriptOne of the tedious work when producing a podcast or radio feature is cutting out the quotes from an interview recording. I suggest a feature to automatize this following a script with time codes, see below. I use trint.com for the podcast manuscript, so the time codes are generated when copy-pasting from the transcript. Speaker 1: [00:02:05] First quote [00:02:12] Speaker 1: [00:03:38] Second quote [00:03:39] Speaker 1: [00:03:55] Third quote [00:03:56] etc. Note: Trint also puts the duration of the quote in brackets.
 Speaker 1: [00:02:21] Another quote [00:02:37][16.3]

Magnetic dockingHi, I'm looking for a way that there is a kind of magnetic docking (like in Davinci Resolve when I'm working with video) when I move a clip on the same track to another. Isn't there an option like that or do I just not find it? Best wishes, Christian 1 vote

Way to delete keyframesWhen using Magic Levels especially, sometimes the system generates keyframes and handles that don't necessarily make any sense. There is no easy way to remove those keyframes at the moment, they can only be moved. Being able to delete a keyframe for audio fading would make workflows much simpler and dramatically improve the use of Magic Levels. 1 vote

Automating Panning, Effects, and PluginsHello, I would like to request that you add automation support for panning, effects, and plugins. I am upgrading from an app on my iPad because of limitations, and I got Hindenburg free with my Vocaster Two, so it was the obvious upgrade. It is so awesome to see a DAW designed specifically with podcasters in mind, and the lack of automation for anything other than gain is pretty much my only gripe. I make a non-fiction podcast with a lot of music and an audio-drama podcast, both of which require me to frequently adjust things like panning, reverb, pitch,… 7 votes

Keyboard toggle for linked tracksI'd love to be able to deactivate and reactivate linked tracks from the keyboard. My editing process is about a 50/50 split between linked tracks being a help and being a hindrance, and not only is deactivating it slow, but reactivating it currently involves redefining it one mouse click at a time. 2 votes

Make Hindenburg a multi-core program.I am running into problems with Hindenburg handling newer audio plugins since it is limited to using a single core. I have a powerful computer being held back by Hindenburg because it can only use 1/8th of the available processing power. 6 votes

Multitrack Ducking before and after In and out PointsI would like to change the volume of the first three tracks with one drag (they are linked), the way you see it in the screenshot. I know of CMD+F and Shift+D for Ramp In and Ducking, which is not what I need, as the ramp I am looking for is supposed to start a little later and not at the beginning of the tracks.
But when I set In and Out Point and then try to toggle the volume of the three tracks down, it doesn't take the selection into account. Instead it toggles down the whole region on…5 votes

Solo / Mute linked tracksIt would be really useful to be able to solo or mute linked tracks (perhaps with a shortcut, like Cmd + S). Music Stems are usually linked, so they don't go out of sync, and sometimes you need to listen just to the music to check an edit, finetune, etc. If you have 10 stems, soloing each one of them each time you want to check something takes a lot of time. The workaround is to mute the voice tracks, but again we are talking about multiple clicks if you have more than one voice vs one command that you… 2 votes

Stationary playheadIt would be a nice option to have the playhead stationary in the center of the screen and have the waveforms move in the background. Everything relates to the playhead, and it would be great not to chase that across the screen all the time. 2 votes
