FAQ's regarding Perpetual users upgrading to Hindenburg PRO 2
If you have a Hindenburg PRO version 1 perpetual licence and would like to upgrade to version 2, the following post will attempt to answer all your questions.
HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO HINDENBURG PRO vers. 2?
In your account, you will find options to either upgrade to PRO vers. 2 Perpetual licensing with a discount, as described in the table below, or choose a subscription plan.
If you have not created an account for your original Perpetual licence, you will need to create one and register your original licence in order to access the discount.

CAN I USE TRANSCRIPTION WITH A VERS. 2 PERPETUAL LICENCE?
Yes, we will offer transcription and other services as an add-on to Perpetual licences.
Add-on packages, whether one-time or recurring, will expire one month from the day you buy them.
If you buy more packages within the same period, all hours will expire on the original expiry date for that month.
IF I CHOOSE A SUBSCRIPTION, WHAT IF I NEED MORE TRANSCRIPTION HOURS THAN ARE AVAILABLE IN MY CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION?
We will offer transcription and other services as an add-on to your main subscription.
Add-on packages, whether one-time or recurring, will expire on the next monthly renewal date of your primary Hindenburg PRO subscription. If you are on an annual subscription, it will be on the same date of the month as your subscription started on.
If you buy more add-on packages within the same subscription period, all hours will expire on the same renewal date for your main subscription.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY VERSION 1 PERPETUAL LICENCE AFTER THE LAUNCH OF VERSION 2?
You can continue to use your version 1 licence as long as you like.
Please note that support will be limited and we will not be updating the program to support new versions of Mac or Windows OS. We encourage you to switch up to vers.2 to ensure ongoing support and updates.
I BOUGHT A HINDENBURG PRO PERPETUAL LICENCE ON OR AFTER 13TH FEBRUARY, 2023!
If you bought Hindenburg PRO Perpetual after the 13th February, 2023, you will automatically have access to a Hindenburg PRO vers. 2 Perpetual licence.
In your account, you will see a new product called “Hindenburg PRO Perpetual”. Simply click on the download button to download and activate in the same way you do today.
